The game between third ranked Filipino Alab Pilipinas (8-5) and eighth ranked Malaysian WM Dragons (5-6) was the most important one in the last round on Tuesday night. Alab Pilipinas were crushed by WM Dragons in Kuala Lumpur 91-63. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Alab Pilipinas. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when WM Dragons made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American power forward Will Artino (211-92, college: Creighton) who scored 24 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Amir Bell (193-96, college: Princeton) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American-Liberian guard Prince Williams (197-92, college: ECU) produced 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. WM Dragons moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Singapore S. Defending Filipino champion Alab Pilipinas keep the third position with five games lost. WM Dragons is looking forward to face higher ranked Macau (#5) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Alab Pilipinas will play against Saigon Heat and are hoping to win this game.

Mono Vampire will meet at home Zhuhai (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Saigon Heat will play against Alab Pilipinas in Manila and hope to secure a win.

In the last two games of round 11 bottom-ranked Saigon H. was defeated by Formosa D. in Changhua City 89-80. Alab Pilipinas beat Singapore S. at home 86-77.

There was no surprise in Changhua City where 10th ranked Vietnamese Saigon Heat (3-9) was defeated by fourth ranked Taiwanese Formosa D. (8-6) 89-80 on Sunday. Formosa D. made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for guard Jerran Young (198-91, college: Wright St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 19 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Guard Anthony Tucker (193-89, college: MSU Moorhead) helped adding 30 points and 5 assists. Four Formosa D. players scored in double figures. Forward Sam Thompson (201-92, college: Ohio St., agency: Pensack Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Tyshawn Taylor (191-90, college: Kansas) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. Formosa D. have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 8-6 record. Loser Saigon Heat stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. They outrebounded Singapore Slingers 54-34 including a 24-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Alab Pilipinas looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Nick King (201-95, college: MTSU) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 9 rebounds. Maltese center Samuel Deguara (225-91) helped adding 8 points and 20 rebounds. Alab Pilipinas' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
